Winter Storm Dumps Snow Throughout Lancaster County: Complete Accumulations Inside


In a single day snow blanketed Lancaster County Sunday morning as forecasters reported over 5 inches of snowfall within the southern and japanese ends of the county. 

In line with forecasters from the Nationwide Climate Service at State School, Lancaster County obtained pretty regular snowfall starting Saturday night and lasting till early Sunday morning. 

Snowfall totals diverse all through the county with round 3.5 inches reported by spotters in Millersville. Quarryville Borough noticed over 4 inches of snow by Sunday morning whereas Hole in Salisbury Township reported 5.5 inches. 

Heavier snowfall was reported in western Pennsylvania, with 11 inches falling in Jefferson Township in Somerset County. 

In Bart and Salisbury Township, PPL reported that over 880 prospects have misplaced energy on account of climate situations. PPL estimated that energy could be restored to prospects by 2:30 p.m. Sunday. 

Whereas Nationwide Climate Service forecasters say the winter storm has exited the world, they warn that arctic temperatures are anticipated to remain by way of Monday night together with wind gusts as much as 33 mph. In a single day temperatures will sink down into the kids by way of Monday night time. Forecasters warn that wind chills may make temperatures probably harmful.
