Fifteen minutes earlier than SpaceX’s Falcon 9 lifts off, the countdown seems to be continuing as deliberate.

Following is an inventory of key remaining countdown milestones. T-minus:

  • 7 minutes: Falcon 9 begins engine chill previous to launch.
  • 1 minute: Command flight pc begins ultimate prelaunch checks; propellant tank pressurization to flight stress begins.
  • 45 seconds: SpaceX launch director verifies “go for launch.”
  • 3 seconds: Engine controller instructions engine ignition sequence to begin.
  • 0 seconds: Falcon 9 liftoff.
