Special Train Services Launched for Passengers Affected by IndiGo Flight Disruptions

To provide relief to passengers amid IndiGo flights disruptions across India, Western Railway and East Coast Railway announced that they will run several special trains on special fare.

Western Railway will run seven special trains on special fare between Mumbai Central – New Delhi, Mumbai Central – Bhiwani, Mumbai Central – Shakur Basti, Bandra Terminus – Durgapura, Valsad – Bilaspur, Sabarmati – Delhi & Sabarmati – Delhi Sarai Rohilla stations.

To meet the extra rush of passengers and growing demand for accommodation in air-conditioned coaches, the Indian Railways augmented the capacity of trains across its network.
