BEIJING, Dec. 9 – Mobvoi has launched the TicNote Pods, claiming them to be the world’s first 4G AI recording earbuds. A key innovation is their capability to function independently from a smartphone, powered by a built-in “4G eSIM” and the corporate’s proprietary “Shadow AI” engine.
The earbuds function a dual-channel recording system that captures audio each by means of the earbuds themselves and by way of the charging case, which is designed to be positioned on a desk for optimum ambient sound pickup. This design targets core conversational eventualities reminiscent of on-line conferences, educational lectures, interviews, and telephone calls. The product is at present in search of funding and pre-orders on the Kickstarter platform.
