Minnesota Faculties Shut As a consequence of Incoming Winter Storm



A rising checklist of Minnesota colleges has determined to shut or open late on Tuesday as a winter storm rolls by the state.

WCCO has issued a NEXT Climate Alert, with snow set to succeed in the Twin Cities on Tuesday afternoon. A really sharp line will separate snow from a wintry combine. 

There could also be some dry time within the night earlier than the snow returns to the metro and lingers into early Wednesday.

4 to 7 inches is anticipated to the north and east of the metro; 1 to three inches within the southwest metro; and a mixture of snow and rain south of Interstate 94, with pockets of freezing drizzle.

Blowing snow could make for some treacherous journey situations in western and southern Minnesota on Tuesday evening.

Temperatures will drop into the 20s on Wednesday, and can proceed to drop because the week rolls on, with single-digit highs and subzero wind chills this weekend.
