Mild Snow Forecasted in J-Okay Increased Reaches from December 13-17, MeT Stories


Srinagar, Dec 11: The Meteorological Division on Thursday in its recent advisory acknowledged that remoted larger reaches of Jammu and Kashmir will seemingly obtain gentle snow from December 13 to 17.

An official stated the climate situations in Jammu and Kashmir will seemingly stay ‘partly cloudy’ on December 12, whereas from December 13-17 there’s a risk of partly to usually cloudy with seemingly very gentle snow at remoted larger reaches of north and central Kashmir in the direction of late night time and early morning hours.

From December 18-19, the climate situations will seemingly stay partly to usually cloudy, he stated.

From December 20-21, there shall be usually cloudy climate situations in the direction of night with the opportunity of gentle rain and snow at scattered locations of Kashmir division and remoted locations of Jammu division, the official stated.

He continued that the climate situations will seemingly stay ‘partly cloudy’ from December 22 to 25.

In the mean time, the shallow to average fog prone to proceed at many locations of Kashmir division and remoted locations of Jammu division, the official added.
