Chief Justice of India Surya Kant has reconstituted the Supreme Court docket’s “Synthetic Intelligence Committee”, assigning it the duty of guiding the adoption, improvement, and deployment of synthetic intelligence instruments throughout the Supreme Court docket and the subordinate judiciary.
The reconstituted committee can be chaired by Justice P. S. Narasimha, Decide of the Supreme Court docket of India. Its members embrace Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh Excessive Court docket; Justice Raja Vijayaraghavan V., Decide of the Kerala Excessive Court docket; Justice Anoop Chitkara, Decide of the Punjab & Haryana Excessive Court docket; and Justice Suraj Govindaraj, Decide of the Karnataka Excessive Court docket.
Mr. Anupam Patra, OSD (Registrar) (Expertise) of the Supreme Court docket, will function the Member-Secretary and Convenor of the Committee. Mr. Ashish J. Shiradhonkar, Member (Programs) of the eCommittee of the Supreme Court docket, has been designated as a Particular Invitee.
