SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday announced a fresh round of transfers, postings and additional charge assignments in the Finance Department to streamline administrative operations.
As per Government Order No. 336-F of 2025, issued by the Finance Department, several officials have been allocated new responsibilities with immediate effect. Javed Maqbool Khanday, Treasury Officer, Sadder Treasury Srinagar, has been given additional charge of Treasury Officer, Additional Treasury Khanyar, until Owais Qadir Jan returns from medical leave. Farooq Ahmad Lone, Chief Accounts Officer in the office of the Chief Engineer Public Works (R and B) North Kashmir Baramulla, will also oversee the District Treasury Office Bandipora during the absence of Sheikh Abid Manzoor.
Mohd Ashraf Ahanger, Chief Accounts Officer, MRDA Srinagar, will hold additional charge as Chief Accounts Officer, Chief Engineer Jal Shakti (PHE) Kashmir, until Shadab Mukhdoomi resumes duties.
Mehak Gupta, Accounts Officer at the State Health Agency (Ayushman Bharat), has been assigned additional charge of Accounts Officer, Drugs and Food Control Organisation JK until further instructions. Ashutosh Abrol, Accounts Officer, Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Accounts Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, replacing Jai Dev Singh.
In a reciprocal move, Jai Dev Singh has been transferred back to the Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries Jammu, taking the position held by Abrol. Additionally, Umar Shabir, Treasury Officer Surankote, will hold additional charge of Treasury Officer Mendhar until the return of Sumnash Kumar.
The order, issued by Santosh D Vaidya (IAS), Principal Secretary to the Government, Finance Department, comes into force immediately.
