Patiala: The Indian Institute of Expertise (IIT), Ropar is commencing ‘100 Startups 100 Days’, a nationwide deep-tech acceleration initiative formally recognised as a pre-summit occasion below the India AI Influence Summit 2026. The programme might be hosted on Dec 16 on the IIT Ropar campus, bringing collectively early-stage startups for intensive mentoring, know-how entry and innovation help.The initiative was launched by the previous CMD, Indian Oil Company Restricted, Shrikant M Vaidya; chairperson of Capability Constructing Fee and BoG, IIT Ropar, Adil Zainulbhai; and director, IIT Ropar, Prof Rajeev Ahuja.The India AI Influence Summit 2026, which was introduced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the France AI Motion Summit, might be held on Feb 19-20, 2026 in New Delhi. As the primary world AI summit hosted within the International South, it marks a big step ahead in India’s management in digital transformation and accountable AI innovation.The initiative is powered by iHub AWaDH, a Expertise Innovation Hub supported by the division of science and know-how; Annam.ai, a Centre of Excellence in AI For agriculture supported by the ministry of training; and the IIT Ropar Expertise Enterprise Incubator Basis (TBIF). It’s supported by the Embassy of Israel in India; Reichman College Runway Incubator; UPES (Uttarakhand); Centre for Computer systems and Communication Expertise (Sikkim); ACIC GIET College Basis (Odisha); Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Maharashtra); IIT Tirupati Navavishkar I-Hub Basis; HDFC Financial institution and Canara Financial institution.Prof Rajeev Ahuja mentioned “The programme identifies and nurtures promising startups in rising deep-tech domains similar to AgriTech, WaterTech, IoT, and Cyber-Bodily Programs (CPS) and can facilitate over 30 startups and innovators with grants and funding on Dec 16, supported below GENESIS, DST NM-ICPS and Startup India”.Pushpendra P Singh, challenge director of iHub-AWaDH and Annam, mentioned “As a part of the ‘100 Startups 100 Days’, IIT Ropar, iHub-AWaDH, Annam and TBIF collectively have supported greater than 100 startups with mentoring, funding, incubation and accelerator with the purpose to leverage IIT Ropar’s robust ecosystem of superior R&D amenities, knowledgeable college, funding mechanisms, and business partnerships.
