Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Anusandhan Nationwide Analysis Basis (ANRF) sponsored 3-day nationwide seminar on “Rising Functions of Geosynthetics and Drone Applied sciences in Fashionable Building Practices” concluded at Indian Institute of Know-how (IIT) Indore, witnessing enthusiastic participation from over 175 delegates from throughout India.
The individuals included college students, researchers, academicians, drone practitioners and professionals from the geosynthetics and infrastructure sectors.
The seminar was collectively organised by Division of Civil Engineering, IIT Indore, SRM College, AP, and the IGS Indore Chapter, in affiliation with Worldwide Geosynthetic Society (India Chapter) and the Ministry of Textiles, with TechFab India because the gold sponsor.
The seminar was inaugurated by chief visitor Dr Mahavir Bidasaria, chairman, Ferro Concrete Building (India) Pvt Ltd and former president, Indian Geotechnical Society.
In his keynote inaugural handle, Bidasaria highlighted the rising significance of geosynthetics and drone applied sciences in enabling sustainable, environment friendly and future-ready building practices.
Emphasising business–academia collaboration, he remarked “Innovation-driven analysis, talent growth and adoption of superior applied sciences resembling geosynthetics and drones are important for reaching sustainable infrastructure development and realising the imaginative and prescient of Viksit Bharat.”
In his message, IIT Indore director Prof Suhas Joshi said “Such national-level tutorial engagements play an important position in translating analysis into real-world engineering options. IIT Indore stays dedicated to fostering innovation that helps sustainable infrastructure growth and nationwide missions like Viksit Bharat 2047.”
