Finance Division Withholds Rs 50 Crore GST Claims from MSME Items, Alleges BBIA

JAMMU, Dec 11: Bari Brahmana Industries Affiliation (BBIA) president and Co-Chairman of Federation of Industries Jammu, Lalit Mahajan has drawn the eye of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in direction of the pending legal responsibility of about Rs 50 crores with Finance Division on account of GST and switch over incentives of the MSME models holders within the J&Okay.
In a press assertion right here at this time, Mahajan alleged that Finance Division did not clear the legal responsibility of almost Rs 25 crores in respect of accredited GST reimbursement claims ending June 2025 and Rs 25 crores for the FY 2022-23 already sanctioned and submitted by Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu in respect of turnover incentives of Industrial models, pending with Govt Treasuries because of non- launch of funds.
