Mhow: Three unidentified persons robbed of Rs 1.77 lakh and a bike from a collection agent of a finance company on Gandhwani-Balwari road on Saturday night. Gandhwani police station sub-inspector Niraj Kochle told TOI that 30-year-old Ramgopal, a resident of Manawar town, went to various villages in Gandhwani tehsil to collect instalments from the borrowers of his company, as part of his daily duty. After collecting the cash, while returning to Manawar, three unidentified masked men stopped him on the hilly road of Bakhtala village on Saturday night.Before Ramgopal could understand anything, they took away the bag containing cash and bike from him at knifepoint. Somehow, he reached the police station and lodged a complaint.Kochle said that a case was registered against the accused under section 309(6) of the BNS for robbery.
