Empowering Communities: Financial Literacy Initiative in ASR District

Arthsutra Samvad, a financial literacy programme of Bajaj Finance Ltd., was held at Minumuluru in Paderu mandal of Alluri Sitha Ramaraju district on Sunday. A similar session will be conducted on December 8 in Araku.

The initiative, taken up under the RBI’s programme to promote financial literacy and awareness, focuses on financial discipline, online fraud prevention and sound money management.

Circle Inspector of Police Sanyasi Naidu of Hukumpeta, Deputy Tehsildar Lakshmana Murthy of Paderu, M. Malini of Chaitanya Shravanthi and Somulu, Headmaster of Minumuluru School, took part in the programme. The event was organised on the premises of Chaitanya Shravanthi, an NGO working for the empowerment of tribal women.
