DRDO Unveils Seven Superior Indigenous Protection Applied sciences


The Defence Analysis and Improvement Organisation (DRDO) has taken a big step in the direction of enhancing India’s protection capabilities by handing over seven state-of-the-art applied sciences to the armed forces. These developments had been developed underneath the Expertise Improvement Fund (TDF) scheme, emphasizing import substitution and technological innovation.

Among the many delivered applied sciences are a long-life seawater battery system for underwater purposes and an indigenous waterjet propulsion system for quick interceptor craft. Based on the Defence Ministry, these improvements had been rigorously examined by Indian business consultants in collaboration with DRDO.

The seven applied sciences had been formally handed over in the course of the Empowered Committee assembly at DRDO Bhawan, chaired by Samir V. Kamat. The committee permitted 12 new initiatives, aligning with the nation’s imaginative and prescient of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ by bolstering home capabilities in vital protection applied sciences.
