The Guardians have agreed to a one-year cope with free-agent reliever Colin Holderman, a supply advised MLB.com’s Tim Stebbins on Thursday. The membership has not confirmed.
Acquired from the Mets in July 2022 for slugger Daniel Vogelbach, Holderman recorded a 4.39 ERA in 146 appearances in 3 1/2 seasons with the Pirates. After posting a 3.16 ERA in 2024, the righty struggled to the tune of a 7.01 ERA final season.
