Srinagar, Dec 15: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday stated that political interference in establishments shouldn’t be tolerated and must be handled critically.

Chatting with reporters at SKICC Srinagar, CM Omar stated that stories about political meddling in functioning of firms and departments are “unlucky and worrisome.”

“Political interference mustn’t occur. Such issues have to be considered with seriousness. Earlier, these establishments had been accountable to an elected authorities, however now selections are being taken with out that system in place,” Omar stated.

He added that establishments just like the Energy Improvement Company and different departments should operate independently and with out “exterior stress or political motivation.”
