CII Unveils Digital Transformation Program for Coimbatore’s MSMEs

The Confederation of Indian Trade and Sri Krishna School of Engineering and Know-how in Coimbatore on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collectively launch the Dx-EDGE digital-transformation initiative for MSMEs.

The initiative, supported by NITI Frontier Tech Hub and the All India Council for Technical Schooling (AICTE), goals to convey digital know-how to the MSME sector by structured assessments and capacity-building actions.

S. Malarvizhi, chairperson and Managing Trustee of Sri Krishna Establishments, stated the collaboration will help college students by direct publicity to the MSME sector. The initiative will give college students entry to digital-transformation programs. Not less than 100 MSME assessments — evaluations of present processes and digital-readiness in small industrial items — will probably be carried out annually, permitting every taking part pupil to work on actual evaluation initiatives. Workshops and coaching programmes will probably be held to introduce rising applied sciences, and college students finishing mission cycles will obtain certificates.

J. Ganesh Kumar, former chairman of CII Coimbatore Zone and Managing Director of Indo Shell Solid Non-public Restricted, spoke about use of digital instruments at factories to enhance decision-making and monitor manufacturing in actual time.
