BART was seeing major delays on multiple lines Monday morning due to a power issue.
The transit agency reported a major delay on the San Francisco line in all directions due to the power issue between the Powell and Embarcadero stations.
The result was limited service through the Transbay Tube on the Yellow Line, BART said. The agency also said there was no Red or Green line service, and limited Blue Line service between Dublin/Pleasanton and West Oakland stations.
BART advised Red Line riders from Richmond to take an Orange Line train and transfer at MacArthur to the Yellow Line SFO-bound train. The transit agency said Green Line riders can board an Orange Line train and transfer at Bayfair to a Daly City train.
It was not immediately clear when service would be restored on the affected lines.
