
Anaergia Inc. has signed a contract to supply an built-in waste-to-energy system for a PepsiCo Mexico Meals manufacturing facility, marking the corporate’s first venture in Mexico and lengthening its long-standing partnership with PepsiCo.
The settlement, introduced from Carlsbad, California and Burlington, Ontario, will see Anaergia’s subsidiary, Anaergia Applied sciences, LLC, provide high-efficiency digestion expertise together with biogas conditioning and upgrading techniques.
The set up is designed to transform round 50,000 tonnes of natural residuals every year into carbon-negative biomethane.
The biomethane produced might be used on web site, changing fossil pure fuel and slicing an estimated 4,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions yearly. The venture is predicted to be operational earlier than the top of 2026.
