Alec and Hilaria Baldwin Face Turbulence as They List Hamptons Home

Alec Baldwin is coming under a lot of stress, a source exclusively tells the National Enquirer.

“There’s a lot of pressure on him right now,” the insider says of the 67-year-old actor, who recently put his and wife Hilaria Baldwin’s Hamptons home back on the market.

According to Mansion Global, the Baldwins are now asking $21 million for the property in Amagansett, New York, after they took it off the market in July 2024 when it was on sale for approximately $2 million less.

The Enquirer source claims that the father of eight is under financial strain at the moment, which could be the reason for the jaw-dropping price hike.

“[Alec] is in deep s**t financially,” says the source, claiming that his ill-fated Western film Rust “almost destroyed him.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie only took in approximately $25,000 from 115 theaters in its opening weekend.

But aside from the box-office bomb, the on-set incident — during which cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally shot when a live round was discharged from a prop gun — has likely cost Alec a lot in legal fees. Charges against Alec in the case were ultimately dismissed.

“Plus,” the source points out, “he has all these kids, and Hilaria likes to live large.”

With so much on Alec’s plate, “Their marriage right now is on shaky ground,” the insider claims, adding that he was also “not a happy camper with [Hilaria’s] Dancing With the Stars stint.” (As National Enquirer previously reported, rumors of jealousy swirled when the couple uprooted their family and moved their seven kids to Los Angeles so that the 41-year-old could compete.)

Still, it doesn’t mean that all hope is lost for the Baldwins.

“Listing the Hamptons home doesn’t mean they’re headed toward a divorce,” says the source. “It’s more of a reflection of his financial problems right now. He needs the money.”
