Gandhinagar, eleventh December 2025: The Regional Pre-Summit on AI for Good Governance was inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Rajnikant Patel at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. The occasion, collectively hosted by IndiaAI Mission underneath MeitY, Authorities of India, and the Authorities of Gujarat in collaboration with IIT Gandhinagar, serves as a precursor to the India–AI Affect Summit 2026 in New Delhi (15–20 February 2026).
The convention targeted on deploying scalable, safe, and citizen-centric AI to speed up digital transformation throughout governance, healthcare, agriculture, fintech, and public companies. Policymakers, trade leaders, and researchers engaged in interactive periods and explored stay demonstrations on the AI Expertise Zone, showcasing options developed by IndiaAI and DST Gujarat.
Chief Minister Patel emphasised that AI is a transformative instrument that may improve high quality of life, financial system, and safety, highlighting the significance of regional AI conferences in enabling inclusive growth. Deputy CM Shri Harsh Rameshbhai Sanghavi referred to as AI the “new electrical energy” powering Gujarat’s development, whereas Science & Know-how Minister Shri Arjunbhai Devabhai Modhwadia highlighted initiatives just like the Gujarat AI Stack and Cloud Adoption Pointers to strengthen AI-driven governance.
Shri Abhishek Singh, CEO of IndiaAI Mission, underlined that insights from the convention will inform the India–AI Affect Summit 2026, reinforcing India’s world management in AI innovation. Key highlights included the announcement of AI Stacks, MoU signings with world AI companions, and the rollout of the Cloud Adoption Coverage 2025, alongside keynote periods from trade leaders together with Google Cloud, Microsoft, IBM Analysis, NVIDIA, Oracle, and AWS.
The Gandhinagar Pre-Summit demonstrated India’s dedication to scalable, inclusive AI, guaranteeing the advantages of synthetic intelligence attain residents nationwide and drive next-generation digital governance.
