Thompson will begin towards the Kings on Monday.
After signing a two-way pact with the Pacers on Nov. 30, the 26-year-old guard will get the beginning nod for the primary time in his brief NBA profession, pushing Garrison Mathews to the bench. Thompson impressed throughout Friday’s win over Chicago, recording 11 factors (4-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 34 minutes.
