Vans Unveils KPop Demon Hunters Collaboration in Stores and Online

WASHINGTON — “KPop Demon Hunters” and American apparel and shoe maker Vans teamed up to create a collection of shoes featuring characters from Netflix’s hit animated musical.

The collection mixes a blend of both collaborators styles, featuring classic patterns and favorite characters from the movie that has topped all charts lately. 

“Vans’ iconic Checkerboard is featured throughout the Classic Slip-On and Sk8-Hi designs while demon-inspired patterns adorn the Old Skool, seamlessly blending the two realms,” a press release said.  

Shoe styles range from Vans Classic Slip-On and Old Skool to their Old Skool V and Sk8-Hi. Sizes range from adults to kids. 

The collection sells for between $45 and $85. Shoes hit stores Friday and will sell online beginning Monday, Dec. 8.

“KPop Demon Hunters” revolves around a fictional band called HUNTR/X made up of superstars Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, who protect their fans by slaying demons. 

It has become Netflix’s most-watched animated original film to date since its June 20 release and recently made history as the first soundtrack with four songs simultaneously on Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10, including “Golden” at No. 1, and has surpassed 7 billion global streams. It remains topping the charts months after the films release.
