The establishment of platforms like BIRAC and national missions has been instrumental in linking start-ups with investors and partners.
The minister pointed out India’s evolution into an innovation-led economy, noting the nation’s newfound leadership in areas like biotechnology and space technologies. He announced the launch of a national R&D fund, designed to back high-risk, high-impact innovation in previously inaccessible sectors.
