Tragic Loss: Policemen Killed in Udhampur Anti-Terror Operation as Attackers Escape

A policeman was killed in an ongoing anti-terror operation in Jammu’s Udhampur on Tuesday (December 16, 2025). 

“A small group of SOG (Particular Operation Group) had an encounter with three terrorists, and our officer, Amjad Ali Khan, was hit in the course of the firing. We tried to rescue him however misplaced him as a result of extreme blood loss,” Inspector Common of Police (IGP) Bhim Sen Tuti stated.

The anti-terror operation was launched on Monday (December 15) afternoon after a gaggle of terrorists had been traced in Udhampur’s Soan village, triggering a gunfight. “The cordon and search operation was launched Monday night in Soan village following a particular enter. “Saluting the supreme sacrifice of Khan, who was martyred in motion in the course of the Majalta, Udhampur encounter. His braveness and devotion to responsibility won’t ever be forgotten,” J&Ok Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary stated.
