HAYWARD, Calif. (KGO) — At the least six folks had been transported to the hospital Thursday morning after an enormous explosion brought on a big hearth in Hayward, hearth officers say.
The Alameda County Hearth Division says crews responded to the three-alarm hearth on the 800 block of East Lewelling Blvd. Eight engines and two vans had been on scene.

“We had been sitting in the home and it simply… the whole lot shook. Stuff fell off the partitions and after we regarded on the digital camera it was such as you had been watching a struggle video,” Brittany Maldonado, who offered the doorbell cam footage, informed ABC7 Information.
PG&E says they had been notified {that a} third-party development crew broken an underground fuel line round 7:30 a.m. whereas digging on Lewelling Blvd. The road has been the world of a development challenge to widen sidewalks and bike lanes.
PG&E crews responded and labored to cease the circulation of fuel.
The neighborhood is a blended housing and enterprise space proper off Freeway 238.
